The objective of this project is to generate a habitable dwelling for a large family of five members, the father, the mother and the children. This establishes a series of requirements to meet to meet the needs of all members. However, the main challenge is to implement an archery area.
The common requirements are to create a polyvalent living room, with television to watch movies and play video games; kitchen-dining room, it is cooked every day; 4 bedrooms (minimum); study areas (integrated or not to the rooms); large storage for clothes, ski utensils, motorcycle equipment, bicycles, skates and electric scooter; space to exercise; test area for archery; workshop area
Our intention is to create a balance between open and closed spaces established by the great height of the space. As a result, more open spaces of relaxation are created, where there is a strong entrance of natural light, and other areas of work, storage and toilet with lower ceilings. While the archery area is reserved only on the second floor.
In this project there is a strong game between the wooden elements, creating different shapes that differentiate each space. The contrast between wood, glass, iron and microcement is important because it gives character to the space.
